Instructional Design
Roughly 200 interactive learning modules across nearly every Kâ12 subject. The raw material was usually a script from a subject matter expert who knew their field cold but had never thought about how a student moves through it. Bridging that gap was the job.
Some lessons were simple. Others weren’t â an astronomy unit on stellar magnitude needed custom illustrations, interactive comparisons, and a star life-cycle flowchart, because stock photos couldn’t carry the scale. A four-part series on Native American cultures demanded a cohesive visual language and careful handling of a historical archive that could easily have gone wrong.
The throughline: understand the objective, sketch before building, check in with the SME early â while revisions are still cheap.

Collaboration & Process
Translating raw scripts from subject matter experts into interactive lessons students actually engage with â repeated across 200 modules.

Native American Cultures
A four-part series demanding a cohesive visual language and careful, respectful handling of a sensitive historical archive.
-

Stellar Magnitude
Scale and magnitude were too vast for stock photography, so custom illustrations and interactive comparisons carried the lesson instead.
