Every module started with a conversation. Course writers are experts in their fields, not designers — and that’s fine. My job was to ask the right questions, understand the learning objectives, and translate academic content into something a student would genuinely engage with.

For simple lessons that process was quick. For complex subjects it meant sketches, wireframes, check-ins with subject matter experts, and cross-referencing course standards in the LMS before a single asset was built. Making a plan and seeking feedback early isn’t overhead — it’s how you avoid expensive rework and ship something that actually works on the first try.

The volume this process supported speaks for itself. Approximately 200 modules across nearly every subject in the K–12 curriculum.
