Interactive & E-Learning Design

Do not just show galleries.
Show thinking + outcome.

Organize into 3 buckets, not by medium:

A. Interactive & E-Learning Design

Focus on:

  • Systems thinking
  • UX
  • Game mechanics for learning
  • Constraints (budget, time, audience)

Each case study should include:

  • Problem- Lesson content has a low engagement rate. Lesson is outdated and not using modern design standards that students are used to seeing in cell phones and social media. We need to increase engagement by creating interactive elearning modules that teach specific learning objectives across K-12 in a multitude of subjects.

(hero images of impressive ILOs and Geniallys?)
  • Role- interactive media designer. I design and build the experience from beginning to end. I organize lesson copy into an interactive experience. Navigation, layouts, infographics, animations, custom graphics,

    (hi-fi, low fi, mockups)
  • Approach- dont just copy the lesson plan, understand the course objectives and use interactions to reinforce the learning objectives. Reseach, use resources, talk to SME, to ensure that the ILO makes sense. Block it out with lo-fi mockups or wireframes. Assume that there will be revisions. Leave breadcrumbs to assist in future work.

  • Outcome

Learning objectives are more accessible and engagement increases.
